Food Brochure on Venezuelan Cuisine
This brochure was created with the purpose of educating people on Venezuelan cuisine. The main idea behind this brochure was to use a vibrant color palette that would highlight Venezuelan culture and images to inform the readers of all the wonderful varieties of this cuisine.
Process
I wanted to use a very structured design and have a lot of images to occupy the space of the pages. Also, I wanted to create some consistency between each spread by using a grid to layout all of the elements, but each page is unique.
Mockup
I wanted to use a very modular design and have the images be the main focus point of the design. By using a grid, I could create some consistency between each spread but given that each spread has a difference in color, and images, it makes each one stand out from one another.

The three colors of the Venezuelan flag are part of the color pallete and are used
throughout the book.
Images
Since this is an informational food booklet, it was crucial for the images to be a big part of the layout. In these spreads, you'll see a clear representation of the types of images being used.
Illustrations
Food Illustrations are also part of the layout in order to make it easier to illustrate the type of ingredients that play a role in Venezuelan cuisine. To make it more visually descriptive, they are also part of the background. This allows the viewer to quickly associate the arepa with its ingredient.
