Rice Milk Packaging and Branding
We were given the task to create the packaging and branding for a unique flavored drink, I chose to design a brand for a Venezuelan rice milk drink.
Process
I explored different types of looks, and organic and a vintage look. Since this is a Venezuelan drink, I wanted a design that would showcase Latin culture, so I started exploring different ways of doing this, with either patterns or different
types of illustrations.

Mockup
Since there are three different types of Rice Milk flavors, the illustrations in each bottle are different. One has a cacao plant. On the back of the bottle, there is a short story about how the company got started and its origins. By sharing a personal story in the packaging, a connection can be made between the product and the consumer.

As part of this design challenge we had to create a packaging design that could work on different flavors. This is another example of how this design has been altered for this cinnamon flavor rice milk. The color pallete is different to match the color of the cinnamon, and the illustration is that of a cinnamon tree.

Coffee is a big part of Venezuelan culture, which is why it was important for this to be part of the three flavors. The illustration in the Coffee bottle shows a coffee bean plant. I didn't want it to be too obvious, which is why you won't find the traditional coffee beans anywhere in the bottle but the original plant itself. It gives it more
of an organic look.

A mockup of the three different flavors together. In here you can see the different alterations in the design based on the flavors of each drink.
